Ordered a side table in December 2022
Ordered a side table in December 2022. There was a delay in supply but we were kept fully informed of the situation which I regard as very important. Eventual delivery was very well organised to the extent that the expected delivery time was narrowed down to a reasonable time slot. Delivery guys friendly and helpful. Product arrived well packaged, undamaged and when assembled was as described on the website. 1st class service.

Utterly terrible
Utterly terrible. Ordered on 9 Nov. No delivery by 21 Dec. Phoned every day for 2 weeks and given various excuses about being lost/out for delivery/not out for delivery/ blamed on courier company. As result I cancelled order and awaiting hundreds of pounds refund. Now too late to re order for Xmas. Do not use this company.

Appalling customer service sales add said delivery 5 to 7 days when the chair didn't arrive was told 2 weeks, carrier arraigned delivery for a Saturday, Delivery did not arrive carrier phones closed weekends 1st Furniture not answering voicemail box full be warned buy from this company at your peril.

Rattan Weave Table top deterioration
Maze Rattan Grey Victoria Dining Set
This set was bought in July 2018. The chairs are all in good condition, however, the weave of the table top, which is covered with a glass top, is splitting , resulting in holes appearing- present count 20.
The manufactures guarantee on the rattan weave is for one year only. If you are considering buying this product, please keep this in mind.

Lack of effective communication
According to your website my dining table should be delivered within 2-3 weeks. However, I still have not received my dining table. Not only has your call advisor lied about the original dining chairs that I ordered which was apart of the Louis dining set being discontinued, he states that a call agent attempted to contact me. Bare in mind I have no missed calls or voicemails.
I have now been delivered 6 dining chairs which I had to request for as an alternative and I am still waiting for my dining table.

Garden furniture delay
Ordered furniture April 22 for delivery may 22. Order in excess of £3600. Email then received with delivery dated June22. Called early June to confirm delivery date. Now told delivery end of July. No communications prior to my phone call. I cancelled order, i was informed refund would be 24 to 48 hours. Awaiting refund which is delayed also.

Very bad customer service
Very bad delivery service and customer service! I bought the assemble service, but they delivered the furniture and say they cannot assemble these as they cannot find parking space. They’ll come another time, which is fine. However, they leave the furniture on my living room for two weeks without coming back or anyone contacting me to rearrange. I called them several times to chase, no response. Customer service was extremely rude. Disappointed!

Excellent service Excellent Product.
I ordered a ‘Nice’ leather reclining chair from First Furniture on the 13th April. It was acknowledged immediately. I was contacted earlier this week to advise it would be delivered today 22nd. I received a text this morning from DPD giving me a one hour delivery time and bang on time it was delivered. The chair is excellent as was the service I received from First Furniture. Highly recommended.
Incidentally the same chair on Amazon would cost around £200 more !

Actually would prefer to give them no stars but no option. Just had an extremely disappointing and patronising conversation with one of their managers - Scottish by the sound. The issue or blame in this case does not matter …it’s the way a query or complaint is handled. Customer service and how you deal with customers is everything in business but clearly this is not a top priority for them.
Happily look elsewhere in the future regardless of any discounts from this company.

BEWARE
BEWARE - What they advertise may not be what they send you. They then hide behind it being a “typo” on their website which they are not responsible for. Very quick to take your money but if you have an issue the aftercare is the worst I have ever dealt with. They agreed a refund and collection of the good but then I had to chase them constantly for 3 weeks to arrange for it to be collected.
